Feast of the Royal Martyrs of Russia - July 2015
With the blessing of Bishop Peter, during the week preceding the feast of the Holy Royal Martyrs of Russia, families from the Cincinnati, St. Louis, and Dallas areas came together in Kansas for family, fellowship, and fun. The days were busy with prayer, pool time, crafts, food, and church lessons. Excursions were made to the local arboretum and an old-fashioned homestead. Local parishioners joined in the activities, old friendships were strengthened, and new friendships were formed. The week concluded with Vigil and Divine Liturgy in honor of the Royal Martyrs, with most of the participants communing of the Holy Mysteries. Glory to God for all things!
